CAM Latin Teacher of the Year Award
Since 1998, the Classical Association of Minnesota has presented a Minnesota Latin Teacher of the Year award at the annual meeting. Awardees are Latin teachers at an elementary, middle, or high school in the state, who demonstrate excellence in teaching and foster in students an interest in continued study of Latin and the classical world.
CAM is now soliciting nominations for Minnesota Latin Teach of the Year for 2023. All that is required for a nomination is a letter describing in detail the qualifications of the nominee; a resume or CV for the nominee is desirable but not essential. Supporting documents from the nominee’s colleagues, students, and administrators may be requested later. Nominations (self-nominations are acceptable, too) should be sent to jmorton@carleton.edu by October 20th, 2023.
